In the afternoon of August 19, at the Convention Center of Quang Binh district, Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee cooperated with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to organize a conference on developing typical tourism products in regional links. The delegates attended the conference including Mr. Tran Duc Quy - Vice Chairman of Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Leaders of Travel Department of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Leaders of Ninh Binh Tourism Department, leaders of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of the Tourism Promotion Information Centers of provinces: Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh, Hanoi Trade Investment Promotion Center; domestic and foreign travel companies and enterprises; leaders of Xin Man, Hoang Su Phi and Quang Binh districts.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing many aspects of typical tourism product development in the regional links of the provinces. In particular, highlighting the following contents: developing tourism based on the advantages of geomorphological geology, specific terrain with value of the landscape and cultural heritage of ethnic minorities; promoting research, learning experiences in tourism development, homestay accommodation models in the provinces; improving the quality of staffs; cooperatng between associations to connect tourism tours and food tours between regions.
Leaders of Southwestern districts (Ha Giang) signed a memorandum of understanding
on cooperation in promoting tourism with the Tourism Promotion Information
Centers of Ninh Binh, Lao Cai and Thai Nguyen provinces.
Within the framework of the Conference, leaders of Xin Man and Hoang Su Phi districts signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Tourism Promotion Information Centers of Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen and Ninh Binh provinces and signed the agreement on cooperation between tours and routes with 6 travel agenciess to create links for tourism development.
