Thien Ha cave eco-tourism area is a natural scenic in Son Ha commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province. The cave is hidden in the General mountain which belongs to Trang An mountain range, the mountains here look like walls to protect Hoa Lu citadel in the 10th century of King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh dynasties. This place is associated with historical and cultural landmarks such as the Le Boat Pier, Dau Son Buddha Mountain, and Dau Linh Field, etc.
Going through the canal, on the way to Thien Ha cave, there is a path leading to the mountain, visitors go up 157 stone steps to Thien Thanh cave. This is a very small dry cave with a length of just over 50 meters but the beauty in the cave makes visitors admire the colorful stalactites and shapes. The stalactites with different shapes, white as snow, sparkling, faint, sometimes located far away from each other to expose the vast cave ceiling, sometimes close together like coral reefs ... Continuing the journey, a few hundred meters from Thien Thanh cave is Thien Ha 700m long cave including 200m long dry cave and 500m long water cave. Dry cave has a background of about 40m wide, there are many stalactites of stalagmites filled with natural light, shimmering fanciful colors with diverse and vivid shapes. Continuing the walk in the dry cave, we will see the door to the southern ridge, which is the Troi well with natural light shining down to the bottom, making the space open and airy. This well area still has many vestiges of ancient Vietnamese people who lived about 7,500-10,000 years ago.
After visiting the cave dry, visitors continue go down the boat into the water cave. The 500m long underground river is likened to the spiraling strip of galaxies with beautiful sparkling stalactites, including stalactites named Hoa Tien Island, Mother's Milk Breast, etc. According to experts, the stalactite system in the cave is still alive and in the process of development, all seem to be moving in a dreamlike world.
