Situated near 1A National Highway, the relic belongs to Tay Son Ward, Tam Diep City, has its name of Chuc Son Tien Tu (Tien Temple in Chao Mountain) and is a place to worship Saint Lieu Hanh. The relic is associated with King Quang Trung’s victory of defeating 29 thousand warriors of Thanh military force. There is a story telling that Saint Lieu turned out to be owner of a roadside drink stand. In the end of 1788, when King Quang Trung led his military force to the North to defeat Man Thanh invaders, she made rice gruel for the soldiers. After the victory, the King ordered to build a temple and named it as today. Quan Chao Temple has architecture method of letter “nhị” (the second) with three palaces including De Nhat, De Nhi and De Tam. Nowadays, precious objects are preserved including a wooden statue of Saint Lieu with high artistic value and stele under King Tu Duc’s reign, recording historical mark of the temple.
